Hi, I'm Amanda and I love everything about fused glass!
I have only recently learnt about glass and the processes it goes through to become the beautiful finished article, but I would probably say it has now become an obsession!
I use COE90 (coefficient of expansion) bullseye glass, along with stringers, dichroic glass, frit and confetti to create my pieces.
The glass, when fired to full fuse, will reach 810 degrees C. Once the glass has been fired and cooled, ready for use, it is extremely tactile. Sometimes I only fire to 760 or 780 degrees C so that you get different results from the glass.
